Production Update: Sample Review Complete + Mass Production Moving Forward

Hey everyone!
I wanted to share a quick production update for Zombie Overlord.
Since the last update, we received the production sample from Dofine Games and completed our review. Overall, things are looking great, but we did request a couple of minor adjustments before full manufacturing begins. These are small refinements to make sure the final version is where it needs to be before everything goes into mass production.
The big news: we have now paid the mass production deposit, so we are officially moving forward with manufacturing. Dofine Games will begin production as soon as the requested adjustments are completed and confirmed.
This extra review step added a little time to the pre-production process, but we still feel good about the project timeline and are continuing to work toward our November delivery goal. As always, I’ll keep you updated if anything meaningfully changes.
Thank you again for your support and patience. It’s exciting to see Zombie Overlord getting closer to becoming a finished game, and I can’t wait to get it into your hands.

Manufacturing Update: Files Submitted!

Hey everyone,
I wanted to give you a quick update on where things stand with Zombie Overlord.
Last week, all production files were officially submitted to the manufacturer! This includes the base game, stretch goal content, and all of the card updates and additions that were completed after the campaign ended.
Since the Kickstarter wrapped up, I've spent time making a number of small improvements throughout the game. Most of these were minor styling and presentation updates to help create a more polished final product. I also finished several new character cards that are now included in the production files.
The next step is the digital proof review process. I'm currently waiting to hear back from the manufacturer, and I expect to receive the digital proofs sometime this week. Once those are reviewed and approved, we'll move into full production.
While I wait for the proofs, I'll be turning my attention back to the remaining custom Zombie Portrait rewards. Many have already been completed, and I'll continue working through the rest so everyone receives their personalized artwork as soon as possible.
Overall, everything is moving according to plan, and we're officially one major step closer to getting Zombie Overlord printed and into your hands.
As soon as I receive the digital proofs, I'll share screenshots and another update so you can see exactly what we're reviewing before production begins.

These undead legends are officially joining Zombie Overlord as the last characters added to the Holiday Horde lineup!
Even though the Kickstarter campaign has ended, I’m still working hard to make Zombie Overlord the best possible version of the game. That means continuing to improve the artwork, expand the world, and add fun little surprises whenever I can.
George marches forward with unwavering determination, while Abe keeps his distance with razor-sharp aim and nerves of steel. Together, they bring a little presidential chaos to the apocalypse.
We’ve had an absolute blast creating these Holiday Horde characters, and I hope you all enjoy them as much as I do.

BackerKit Surveys Coming Soon

Now that the campaign has wrapped, we’re getting everything set up behind the scenes for the next step, BackerKit surveys.
These surveys will be sent out in about 2 weeks, and they’ll be where you:
- Confirm your reward
- Select any add-ons
- Provide your shipping details
What to expect:
- The survey will come from BackerKit (not Kickstarter)
- We’ll post another update as soon as they go live
- You’ll have plenty of time to complete it before anything is locked
In the meantime:
We’re finalizing production details and getting everything ready to move forward smoothly. More updates coming soon as we lock things in.
Late pledges
Late pledges are still available here on Kickstarter, and will also be available through BackerKit once surveys go out.

It has been amazing watching so many people support something we put so much time and energy into.
I truly appreciate it.
From here, I will be moving into the next phase of the project. I will be sharing updates as we go, including timelines, production details, and everything you need to know moving forward.
